I understand most people want a price, because they are trying to find a DJ within their budget.  The only problem with this is that DJ budgets have been set far too low for over 25 years.  What happens if you find a DJ within your budget, but they don't provide entertainment that creates the celebration as you pictured it?  How will you feel if your guests are disappointed and leave your celebration 1-2 hours early?  Who wants a wedding party to end early?  Not me!

Unlike a commodity, your DJ is providing a specialized 'service'.  Comparing DJs is not like comparing a gallon of gas, a loaf of bread, or a new television.  All DJs are NOT alike, and the success of your celebration is based on the unique talent of your entertainer.
